World Meters

Meters giving interesting information on world phenomena. Based, no doubt, on some estimate of baseline and change, the meters are helpful for providing relative indicators and rates of change.

For example (as of now): 1.36 billion people do not have access to clean water. They are still alive at least -- 1.75 million died from [dirty] water-related diseases in teh year to date. (2.18 million have died of cancer.)
