Although I volunteered to speak at the corporate water event in San Francisco next week, there was no room at the inn. Since I cannot afford the $1800 registration fee, I am not going. (I criticized it as greenwashing here and here.)
Fortunately, the anti-corporate event being held tomorrow night is free, and I am going -- to hear what people have to say and (hopefully) meet Maude Barlow, who is both famous (and wrong, IMO).

Next week private water corporations are coming to San Francisco for a greenwashing conference and we're not going to let them get away with it.
