Woo Hoo! Printing Posts!

I've been searching far and wide for some html that would make it easy to print posts off this blog without all the crap on the top and sides. Thanks to Dominic at the Zen Kitchen, I've got it working.

Do NOT use this on http://aguanomics.com/ unless you want ALL the posts on the homepage. Click on the title of the post to get it alone.

So now you can print a post (and comments!) for sending to your friends, Romans and countrymen. (Don't bother sending them to politicians; they appear immune to good ideas.)

Enjoy!

This is what I like about your Blog. We get viewpoints on water, viewpoints from young fresh minds and a few CSS hacks thrown in.

For your Blog readers that do a lot of printing posts (from anyone's website) and Firefox is their Browser of choice there is a Plug-in called Aardvark http://karmatics.com/aardvark/ that provides the same functionality and works on any web site that's being browsed.

BTW, really do enjoy the posts from your students.

@DG -- what's the hotkey to turn OFF aardvark? (Nice toy...)

dz,

The extension will run until you leave, refresh, or stop it by pressing “Q” for quit.

Actually, I don't use this Plug-in too often but I like its functionality. Firefox is a wonderful browser as it can be customized with a multitude of Plug-ins. The Plug-ins extend the abilities of the browser. Most are worthless (to the masses), but a few 'jems' are there as well.

There are several that are quite popular with Bloggers and folks that like to 'power browse'.

A website that really is great to learn about this type of stuff is http://lifehacker.com/ (which is bookmarked in every geek's browser)
